American Testament – The Book of Mormon
American Testament – The Book of Mormon
This blog is for new readers of the Book of Mormon and is intended as a point of contact with a real person for those who might have genuine questions but “have never met a Mormon” and would like to hear answers from a regular, practicing Mormon. It is also the site to which I send people to whom I have given a Book of Mormon and with whom I might never come in contact again.

This I know to be true
This I know to be true
The Bible and the Book of Mormon are both witnesses of Jesus Christ. They teach that He is the Son of God, that He lived an exemplary life, that He atoned for all mankind, that He died upon the cross and rose again as the resurrected Lord. They teach that He is the Savior of the world. Each book stands as evidence that God lives and speaks to His children by revelation to His prophets.

No Amount Of Success Can Compensate For Failure in the Home
I am by no means the perfect parent. But as an LDS Youth Leader and single parent I have found myself in many homes with parent and child(en)counseling them on building and being an LDS based family. Each child and family is different. What we must each remember is whether we are divorced, single, widowed, we are NEVER really single parents. It really does take a village

My Mission: to Restore humankind’s faith in the intelligent blonde, and to horrify as many people as possible with my slight ditzy-ness. My Work: Venting about my random fears of harmless phenomena. Give me homeschooling on a shoestring, vegetarianistic hypocricy, half-sensible political murmuring, and an endless supply of Huggies (size 4) or give me death. My Name: NoSurfGirl.
