I’ve changed diapers every day since January 2003, and let’s face it &#8212; it ain’t pretty. I’m pretty sure that I was not cut out to be a toddler mom. And yet . . . deep down inside I sometimes recognize a spark of divinity that tells me this really is what I was meant to do. So welcome to the blog intended to remind you that when you’re up to your elbows in diapers, laundry, battery-operated toys and macaroni and cheese, you’re still a daughter of God. So cry a little, laugh it out, say a prayer and move on.</p>

I am by no means the perfect parent. But as an LDS Youth Leader and single parent I have found myself in many homes with parent and child(en)counseling them on building and being an LDS based family. Each child and family is different. What we must each remember is whether we are divorced, single, widowed, we are NEVER really single parents. It really does take a village</p>
